Charge Your Paxcess Power Station With Solar Panels
Paxcess sells power stations, also known as solar generators, in a couple of different sizes. These can be charged in three ways, with the included AC wall charger, the car charger, and with solar panels.
Today I am going to help you find compatible solar panels to charge your Paxcess power station with, and show you how you can use any third-party panel. There are a couple of limitations though since the solar charge controller in the power station decides how fast the battery can actually charge.
Let’s start by looking at the Paxcess batteries and the inputs and limitations of each, then we’ll list compatible solar panels.

Solar Panels Compatible With Paxcess Power Stations
Here are a couple of solar panels that are compatible with each of the Paxcess solar generators.
If the solar panel has a green checkmark next to “Requires Additional Adapter”, scroll down a bit and I will link the adapter you’re going to need to connect that specific solar panel.
The panels that don’t require any additional adapters include several DC adapters and can be plugged in without any additional purchases.

The Additional Adapter You Might Need
To connect solar panels that have MC4 connectors, we need an MC4 to DC adapter. Since the inputs on the Paxcess power stations differ depending on the model, you’re going to need a different adapter depending on which one you have.
Note that the largest Paxcess 330W power station comes with an MC4 to DC connector, if you have lost it, you need the one I link for the 250Wh down below.
For the Paxcess 151Wh, you need an No products found..

For the Paxcess 250Wh, and 330W, you need an adapter like this (click to view on Amazon).
With either adapter, you take the positive MC4 connector from the solar panel and plug it into the MC4 female connector on the adapter. Then do the same thing with the negative MC4 connector from the panel.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Can I Improve The Charging Efficiency When Using Solar Panels?
The easiest thing you can do is to make sure the panel directly faces the sun. Angle or tilt the panel in any way you can, and you’ll see an increase in charging speed.
Another thing you should do is make sure the solar panel isn’t shaded even a little bit. Sometimes a small shadow can decrease the charging efficiency significantly.
How Long Will It Take To Charge The Battery With Solar Panels?
It depends on which power station and solar panel you have.
Paxcess advertises that it takes 7-12 hours to charge the 151Wh with solar. 10-11 hours with a 100W panel connected to the 250Wh, and 9-10 hours with a 100W panel to charge the 330W.
Do I Need A Solar Charge Controller?
Power stations/solar generators have built-in solar charge controllers and do not require any additional charge controllers.
